The Michelle McLean Children Trust’s School of Excellence was established in 2000.  Since then it has become one of the cornerstones of the Trust.  It has gone from strength to strength and is currently presenting a wide spectrum of training courses throughout Namibia.

Today the School of Excellence is a thriving training centre that offers different training programmes to primary as well as secondary school learners, and also presents training programmes for Early Childhood Development.

Through the School of Excellence we strive to motivate learners to take a hand in their own education so that, as adults, they will be able to contribute to the economic and social development of Namibia.  Many people have the perception that our young people do not make a positive contribution towards society and therefore the role that they can play is sometimes overlooked.

To counter this perception the objective of the School of Excellence is to empower and provide the children of Namibia with the necessary equipment to fulfil this role by creating a wide range of training and
education opportunities
